Expand your role-playing with this free mod

Torchlight II: Classes Reborn Overhaul Mod is a free video game utility that revamps the list of playable classes in Torchlight II. Developed by Double M Labs, this handy mod expands the meager number of the game’s classes and introduces various different builds that you can do. Take note, however, that this mod is actually just a package or bundle of other existing mods so you don’t have to go over the game’s mod limit.

Be whatever you wish

Torchlight II is a 2012 action role-playing dungeon crawler video game developed by Runic Games. It is the sequel to Torchlight, and features peer-to-peer multiplayer support and extended modding capabilities. It continues the story of the first game, wherein the original protagonist ends up getting corrupted and you must now help stop the chaos. There are 4 new classes here—different from the 3 classes of the first game—and each of these has 3 customizable skill trees.

However, modders decided to mix things up a bit. With Classes Reborn Overhaul, the original four classes become over 40 new dynamic and balanced classes. Every weapon usage and type of build will be covered from the sheer size of this list. You can see different combinations of the base classes and the hybrid classes, too—from the simple Barbarian to the daunting Shadowmancer. Please note, however, that some may seem more powerful than others.

If you use other Torchlight II mods, you might notice some familiar names on this list. That’s because this is actually a huge bundle of other mods from Steam. The game only allows 10 mods at a time so if you have tons that you want, it can be hard to choose which to switch out once you go overboard. You won’t have any problems as long as this comes first in your load order.

Just a bunch of mods

Overall, Torchlight II: Classes Reborn Overhaul Mod is a great space-saving mod to have for Torchlight II. The sheer amount of classes that you can get from this package alone makes it highly-recommended for fans. However, you should note that while most of them are well-balanced, some can seem overpowering. Plus, other than this, there’s nothing much that the mod originally offers to you. Nevertheless, this is a great choice for a mod.
